Parts Price Matrixing

A new process to set the sale price of inventory automatically based on the parts cost would be extremely helpful. This would grossly reduce the current requirement of always having to manually update the sale price of the parts.

This process could be setup in the "Update Price Lists" area of the system. In the example below, any part that has a cost of $7.50 would automatically have a sale price of $15.00 (Cost x 200%).

If the cost of that part rose to $12.00, the cost would be $19.20. (Cost x 160%)

For us, likely 20 lines of costing ranges would likely suffice, however, larger companies may utilize more ranges.

For example only:

Set "Regular"  -   Prices by   -   "Increasing"   -    "Cost"   -    Prices "Percent"   -   Of Cost Range   -   "$  0.01"   -   To   -   "$    9.99"   -   "200.00"   -   %        + <-- Used to add another line.

Set "Regular"  -   Prices by   -   "Increasing"   -    "Cost"   -    Prices "Percent"   -   Of Cost Range   -   "$10.00"   -   To   -   "$  19.99"   -   "160.00"   -   %

Set "Regular"  -   Prices by   -   "Increasing"   -    "Cost"   -    Prices "Percent"   -   Of Cost Range   -   "$20.00"   -   To   -   "$  40.00"   -   "150.00"   -   %

Set "Regular"  -   Prices by   -   "Increasing"   -    "Cost"   -    Prices "Percent"   -   Of Cost Range   -   "$40.01"   -   To   -   "$100.00"   -   "140.00"   -   %

Set "Regular"  -   Prices by   -   "Increasing"   -    "Cost"   -    Prices "Percent"   -   Of Cost Range   -   "$100.01" -   To   -   "$250.00"   -   "130.00"   -   %

Set "Regular"  -   Prices by   -   "Increasing"   -    "Cost"   -    Prices "Percent"   -   Of Cost Range   -   "$250.01"  -   To   - "$99999.99"  - "120.00"   -   %
