If in the same pay cheque there are some hrs. (and $) + some vacation pay, 4% from the paid hrs. are either do not calculated or it would be very small amount.
For example: if the pay period is by-weekly, employee gets 40 hrs. of regular wages + 40 hrs. of vacation. 4% of the first portion are not calculated.
I need to produce 2 chqs. for the same period/date. But, in this case at the end of a year, after T4's are produced I was informed by CRA that not enough taxes were remitted.
It is not an IDEA, it is a potentially HUGE issue.
