If a supplier offers the early payment discount on the subtotal, which does not include freight, it will save a lot of time when entering the payment if you do not have to manually change each discount amount for a high volume supplier. It would be nice to be able to make this selection under the vendor information so that you can have the discount be calculated on the subtotal, instead of having the only option be calculating before taxes.
