This is of paramount importance for companies that have a large number of employees and also if they have an RSP available to their employees. I will now have to start shopping for new accounting software that will allow me to have employee numbers.

Hi, Cindy. If you're otherwise happy with Sage, you might want to look at Paydirt from Qlab. It is an extremely versatile, extremely bomb-proof, and very fast-to-use payroll software (speaking as a long-term user)... and it easily exports entries that can be pulled into Sage's general journal. Sage is fine for small to medium payrolls, but once you get into large or complex payrolls Paydirt makes life much, much easier.
