I have a long payroll run and it would be nice to start the payroll on one day and finish it the next day. I wouldn't want to leave Sage open with the Payroll Run Journal open for security reasons. In the Bank Reconciliation Journal, there is an option to save without posting. It would be great to have the same option in the Payroll Run Journal.

I've been working with Sage 300 and Sage 50 for years. I love the product but the inability to save a payroll part way through on Sage 50 and then come back to finish it later is something that definitely needs to be changed. I hope this will be included in a future product upgrade release.
